A note about language. As we continue to evolve our understanding, supports, and resources in the autism community, the language we use shifts and adapts as well. Words matter. You may notice throughout this website the alternating use of identity first and person-first language. The intention is to honor the diversity in preferences across the autistic community. Efforts to continue to grow our understanding of issues of intersectionality will continue to evolve and we intend to reflect that development here as we learn and grow.
